I am an assistant professor in the School of Statistics at the University of Minnesota, Twin Cities. I also have a graduate faculty appointment in UMN Data Science. My research is mainly about

In 2018-2023, I worked as an assistant professor in the Department of Statistics at the University of Virginia. I obtained my PhD in 2018 from the University of Michigan, advised by Prof. Liza Levina and Prof. Ji Zhu. Previously, I also worked as an applied researcher in Microsoft Bing Search in 2012-2013, focusing on online controlled experiments (A/B testing).
